Usenix LISA, Boston PUG

Date: 2011-12-06 – 2011-12-08
Location: Boston, MA, United States

We are going to be doing a booth at Usenix LISA conference in Boston from December 7-8 as well as a BOF and a BosPUG meeting. If you are attending LISA please drop by.

We also need booth volunteers to help me work the booth.  All you need is some general knowledge of how to use PostgreSQL, enthusiasm, and 3 (or more) free hours.  We will supply the rest, including flyers, magazines, and a t-shirt for volunteers.  If you don't already have a pass for the conference, I will get you one for the exhibit hall. Email Josh Berkus at josh@postgresql.org if you are interested in helping.  he can also give you our community code for a $100 discount on full registration.

We will also have a BOF on the night of the 7th at the conference hotel, where Josh will demo some 9.1 and 9.2 features and talk about the PostgreSQL project.

Finally, there will be a BosPUG meeting on the evening of the 6th, at 6pm, at VMWare offices near MIT. Josh Berkus will be presenting on data warehousing with PostgreSQL.
